Frank LoNano has been in the financial services industry for over 26 years and provides financial advice to successful individuals, corporate executives and business owners.

Frank graduated Harvard Graduate School of Business (AMP).  He had an impressive career prior to forming LoNano Financial Advisors in 1986.  Frank owned and operated a business advisory and management consulting company and had an extensive career (21 years) with Avis, Inc., rising to the position of Group Vice President, International.  Frank served on the Board of Directors for seventeen joint-venture corporations of Avis, Inc..  

Frank is a member of the Financial Services Institute and the Society of Financial Service Professionals. He's currently active with the local Harvard Alumni Association and a member of the Board of Directors for the Oak Ridge Meadows Homeowners Association, serving as Treasurer.  Frank enjoys his local chapter of AARP, having most recently served as Vice President.  Frank's interests include travel, community activities, music and exercise.  Frank and his wife, Sandra of 51 years, have three grown children and three grandchildren and reside in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Frank is securities licensed in the following states: AL, GA, MA, NC, SC, TN, TX, and VA. He is insurance licensed in NC.

Michael J. LoNano, CFP^® is the Vice President of LoNano Financial Advisors, Inc.  He has been in the financial services industry for over 21 years and provides financial advice to successful individuals, corporate executives and business owners.  Michael enjoys assisting those transitioning into retirement as well as those already retired.  However, he does not limit his practice to these areas as he is a firm believer in the importance of using a financial plan to navigate your financial decisions at all stages of life.

Michael graduated from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, New York with a BS in Business  and a minor in Philosophy.  He complemented his education in the industry by obtaining the CFP^® designation through the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado.

In his spare time, Michael is active in his community and focuses on his family.  Michael's interests include reading, music, and exercising. The LoNano family can often be seen out enjoying Greensboro's beautiful parks. Michael, his wife Mary of 21 years, their daughter April (age 19), Carlos, the Chocolate Lab, and Terror the Cat, reside in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Michael is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and the Financial Services Institute. He is on the Board of Directors for the Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP). He will serve from 2009-2012.  He is also Co-Chair for the Society's 2010, 2011 & 2012  Professional Day Continuing Education Event.  The SFSP is a Multidisciplinary Network of Credentialed Financial Professionals.  He is securities licensed in the following states: AL, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, KY, MA, MI, NC, NY, PA, SC, TN, and VA. He is insurance licensed in GA, NC, SC and VA.

Mary helps us deliver upon our promise of Superior Client Service.  She supports us in keeping our Operations running smoothly and you can call on her for any of your administrative needs.  One of her main objectives is to assure that all of our clients receive first class treatment.  

Mary received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY where she met and eventually married Michael LoNano; co-owner of LoNano Financial Advisors.   In her free time Mary enjoys quality time with her daughter April, exercising, and pursuing her creative talents with cake decorating.

Uno assists Frank and Michael in their financial planning activities.  You will find Uno to be an invaluable resource with his understanding of current events and his ability to explain them in relation to your own situation.  Uno's easy going style is comforting and continues to win him fans.  He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, with a B.S. in Finance.  Uno is a Registered Office Assistant and has his Series 7 and 66 Securities licenses. He is licensed for Life and Long Term Care insurance in NC. Uno is also working on the challenging curriculum required to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. 

In his time away from work and school, his primary focus is his family and raising his daughter, Jasmine.  Uno's interests also include reading, playing basketball, football and enjoying a deep passion for Tar Heel basketball.

Sandra keeps our back office running smoothly. Our clients always appreciate her calm and pleasant demeanor.

Sandra graduated from Mary Washington College with a degree in Sociology. Stationed in San Antonio at Brook Army Medical Center for the American National Red Cross as a social worker, she met Frank LoNano, and they were subsequently married. Fifty years later, they are still going strong! Sandra is the loving mother of three adult children.

Sandra’s generous and caring nature shows in her activities outside the office. She is a Member of Greensboro Newcomers, past President of Dolley Madison Woman’s club (a Federated Woman’s Club), Recording Secretary for a local AARP Chapter, Member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and a Member of Family and Children’s Services.
