The CFP® Board's Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct reflect the commitment that CFP® professionals make to high standards of competency and integrity. These Codes and Standards benefit and protect the public, provide guidelines for delivering ethical financial planning, and advance financial planning as a distinct and valuable professional. Compliance with the Code and Standards is a requirement of CFP® certification, and is critical to the integrity of the CFP® marks.
Working with an advisor who is a Better Business Bureau member cannot guarantee investment success or that financial goals will be achieved.
